Why Naivasha?
Comfortable climate, very low malaria risk due to high altitude location.
Lake Naivasha is a well known IBA (Important birding area) as well as a Biosphere Reserve. Location is ideal only 1,5 hours from Nairobi and same to Nakuru world famous National Park – opportunity to do more visits nearby.
Naivasha offers hiking to Mount Longonot and Mount Suswa, horse riding with wildlife, fantastic boat tours on Lake Naivasha observing birds and hippos.
Unique opportunity for walking safaris in Sanctuary Farm and KWS Hippo Camp sanctuary – only 20 minutes walk away from Aloepark! Wild animals roam freely (as in most cases in Kenya), and it’s a fantastic experience observing giraffes, zebras etc. on foot!
Naivasha excellent golf course lies only 15 minutes drive from town!

Naivasha is a real Kenyan small town; colourful, active, exciting yet full of very hospitable people.

Why Aloepark hotel?

Unique yet affordable accommodation with central location.
Lakeview residential area lets you know peaceful life in the “Beverly Hills” of Naivasha – yet observing neighbourhood daily living. Goats, sheep, chicken are kept even in this upmarket part of town. Still it’s only 20 minutes walk to busy and lively city center. Even Aloepark hosts two happy chicken in the garden – occasionally gives you opportunity to enjoy these eggs at breakfast.
Strongly supporting local community! All furniture is bought directly from local craftsmen; beds, chairs, tables, shelfs, mirrors etc.
Of course we support small businesses when buying fruit and vegetables – so fresh and keeping agricultural activities live in the area.

Aloepark loves recycling as well… i.e. all vegetable food material (peels of fruits etc.) are fed to cows and sheep, and our pet rabbits and chicken.
Shower water is heated with solar panels.
Towels and bedsheets- when no longer in top condition – are donated to nearby orphanage (Loving Hands Safe House) in Gilgil Town.
Aloepark also organizes visits to schools, nurseries and orphanages for them to benefit. So many stories from Kenya are rumours – go and see yourself!

Rooms:
We have total 11 rooms; twin rooms, double bed rooms and one apartment containing bedroom, living room and kitchen. All rooms are with bathrooms and good wifi signal.
Prices vary according to season and length of stay, roughly 35 $/night/person with breakfast for twin/double. Prices are confirmed with the reservation. Half board can be booked, and we have a menu to select from on the spot.
There is free wifi in the hotel (also in the rooms).
We accept Kenyan shillings, US-dollars, euros and Visa/ Mastercard.
